Mechanic/Technician
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post secondary degree in heavy equipment mechanics and small engine repair
- Construction industry experience a plus
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Troubleshooting skills
DESCRIPTION:
Gaines and Company, founded in 1954, is a well-established residential and commercial site developer seeking mechanics/technicians with an emphasis on heavy equipment maintenance and repair. A Mechanic/Technician is expected to have a postsecondary degree in equipment mechanics. Our mechanics have excellent technical skills and are well versed in maintenance and repair schedules.
Attention to detail, familiarity with parts and electronic components of complex machinery and engines as well as the tools to repair the heavy equipment. Familiarity with the diagnostic tools, good manual dexterity and experience with hydraulic is a plus.
