Maryland Laborer Enrique Perez Ensures Crew-Wide Safety

Safety Director Dominic Pope said: “Enrique is an exemplary employee who goes above and beyond with safety. I can guarantee that he is always working safely and looking out for others on his crew. Even though Enrique hasn’t even been with Gaines for two years, it’s impressive how far he’s come so quickly. He lets me know if equipment or processes need fixed and does a great job showing other employees how to work safely.”

Enrique is on the same crew as fellow Safety Excellence Awardee, Edwin Rivera .

Dominic added: “I can’t say enough great things about this crew. They take care of their workers to make sure everyone works safely each day, even when no one is watching.”

Gaines and Company is proud of its groundbreaking safety excellence program. In both the Maryland and North Carolina divisions, Safety Excellence Achievement Awards are given on a quarterly basis to employees who go above and beyond in their dedication to safety. All quarterly awardees are eligible for the Year-End Safety Excellence Award recognition.
