Lee Gaines Honored at the Eighth Annual “Party for the Cure”

In May 2016, Lee Gaines was the guest of honor at the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) “Party for the Cure.” Lee has been involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association for many years, and for the last eight years he has served as a senior committee member. As co-founder of the “Party for the Cure,” Lee has been instrumental in raising over a half of a million dollars to benefit those afflicted with devastating neuromuscular diseases.
The Party for the Cure Gala, held at Turf Valley Country Club in Baltimore, was emceed by Fox 45’s evening news anchor Jennifer Gilbert. Funds raised by an auction of the artwork from MDA registrants went towards sending kids to the MDA’s summer camp, something the children look forward to all year.
