Utility Operator Cody Darling Receives Safety Excellence Achievement Award

Foreman Keith Collins said: “Cody has been with us since he was a laborer and has become a second set of eyes on the job site for me. He knows what it means to work safely and makes sure the entire crew is being as safe as possible.”

Safety Director Dominic Pope said: “Cody always wears his PPE, makes sure trenches are dug safely, and watches the entire crew to make sure they are working safely. He’s not afraid to take newer guys under his wing to teach them how to work safely. Cody is just a great worker to have on the job site.”

In both the Maryland and North Carolina divisions, Safety Excellence Achievement Awards are given on a quarterly basis to employees who go above and beyond in their dedication to safety. All quarterly awardees are eligible for the Year-End Safety Excellence Award recognition.
